In recent years, there has been an increase in the use of medical cannabis and there has been significant progress in understanding the scientific basis for its mode of action. Cannabis is now recognized as a source of many compounds that have beneficial medical effects for a variety of symptoms.  Israel is one of the world’s leading countries in the extent of use of medical grade cannabis. The legal basis for such use of cannabis has been codified in Israel as "medicalization", regulation outlines that regulate access to and supply of medical grade cannabis on the one hand and control of the cannabis- based medicinal products on the other.

We invite you to participate in the 1st International Conference on Medical Cannabis, which will be held in Tel Aviv, Israel, April 23-26, 2018.

Sessions will include:

• Regulation and Medicalization • Hi-Tech agriculture • Socio-demographic aspects of medical cannabis • Endocannabinoids • Phytocannabinoids • Good Clinical Practices • Clinical studies • Development of cannabis based treatments and medicine • Economic issues related to Medical cannabis

The international conference is expected to attract scientists, regulators, medical personnel, farmers and policy stakeholders, interested in this vibrant field of medical cannabis.

We look forward to you joining us in this thrilling event.
